FAQ
What's so bad about plastic replacement heads?
What's so bad about plastic replacement heads?
Every time you brush, plastic bristles shed tiny particles straight into your gums. Your gums absorb them directly into your bloodstream — every single day, twice a day. It adds up to 2.3 million particles a year. You can't see them, but they're there.
What makes VeroBrush different from other 'eco' toothbrush heads?
What makes VeroBrush different from other 'eco' toothbrush heads?
Most eco brands just put a bamboo handle on the same nylon bristles. The bristles are still plastic. VeroBrush uses charcoal-infused natural bristles on a 100% bamboo head — no nylon, no BPA, no PFAS, no synthetic glue. Nothing fake touching your mouth.
What are the bristles actually made of?
What are the bristles actually made of?
Activated charcoal-infused natural bristles. Not nylon. Not plant-based nylon. Not bioplastic. If you've been burned by "eco" brands before — this is the difference. We tell you exactly what's in there because we have nothing to hide.
Will it clean as well as my old plastic head?
Will it clean as well as my old plastic head?
Yes. Your electric handle does all the real cleaning work — the sonic vibration removes plaque. The bristles just need to make gentle contact with your teeth and gums. Softer bristles actually clean better because they reach between teeth without pulling away from the gum line.
What handles are compatible?
What handles are compatible?
VeroBrush fits most Philips Sonicare click-on handles. Quick test: if your current head clicks onto the metal pin without twisting — it fits. VeroBrush is not made by Philips or Sonicare. Compatibility is based on handle design only.

Is it gentle enough for kids?
Is it gentle enough for kids?
Yes. The charcoal bristles are softer than standard nylon — they're safe for children 6 and up. A lot of parents switch the whole family at once. Kids' gums are more sensitive than adults', so softer bristles are actually the better choice.
Will bamboo get moldy?
Will bamboo get moldy?
No. Bamboo is naturally antimicrobial — it resists bacteria and mold on its own. Stand it upright after brushing so it dries out between uses. No special care needed beyond what you'd do with any toothbrush.
